The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Land Port of Entry ("CBP LPOE") has a verified need for a contractor to perform construction services at the Detroit Ambassador Bridge, located at 3033 Porter Street, Detroit, Michigan 48216. The scope includes but is not limited to the following work: Install security upgrades at passenger building, exterior pavilion, and two trailers and turnstiles. Upgrades include CCTV cameras, network video recorders, microphones, access control systems, instruction detection systems, door and hardware changes, and security fencing. The contract completion time for this project is ninety (90) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. The proposed contract is being solicited as a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction).
