Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction.-7 An acceptable bid bond, cashier s check, or certified check payable to the City of Shreveport, in an amount not less than five (5%)All bonds applicable to this transaction must be accompanied by an original power of attorney. An acceptable performance bond equal to 100% of the amount of them contract and a 50% payment bond and 10% two-year maintenance bond will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Shreveport reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for just cause. the Contractor shall certify that he or she is licensed under Louisiana Revised Statute 37:2150 et seq.The licensee shall not be permitted to bid or perform any type or types of work not included in the classification under which his/her license was issued.
