The work for which proposals are asked includes the following: Reroofing as identified on architects plans; Window replacements as identified on architects plans; Brick infill and residing at required areas as identified on architects plans. Pre-Qualification: Yes Prequalification of bidders who have not prequalified with the City within the last 2 years for this type of work will be required by the Operations Committee for all bidders intending to bid. Prequalification forms are provided in the project manual. Deadline for submittal of prequalification forms to tjanssen@ci.beaverdam.wi.gov is May 24, 2023 at 2pm CST. No proposal will be accepted unless presented under sealed cover and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond satisfactory to the Operations Committee in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid and payable to the City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin reserves the right to waive any informality, or reject any or all proposals The City of Beaver Dam will award the Contract to the bidder whom, in its opinion, will be most advantageous to the City. Letting of this Contract is subject to applicable provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
