Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Provide labor, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the Fashion Institute of Technology Coed Residence Hall Corridor Painting Floors 2-3. Contractor to provide an "add alt" bid for work on floors 4 and 5. Contractor may begin survey and procurement of materials immediately following award. The work includes removal and disposal of existing doors, and associated hardware. Repair GWB, plaster, and wood to match existing where damaged by removals or installation. Clean existing closet shell. Prepare for repainting inside and out. Remove any existing towel bars and hooks on outside of closets. Patch, sand and paint. Prime and paint interior surfaces to match specifications. Install new doors and associated hardware. Patch and repair existing trim in areas with damaged trim. Prep and paint base on interior of closet to match specifications. Patch, repair & paint any damaged surrounding wall to match existing finishes. Patch existing popcorn ceiling as required. The installation of all finishes shall be in accordance with industry standards and professionalism. Questions shall be submitted in writing to the attention of Purchasing Department via email: purchasingbids@fitnyc.edu, no later than May 17, 2023 on or before 3:00 P.M.
