Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Chino Hills, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work comprises, but is not limited to: Construction of Phase A parking lot expansion and miscellaneous site improvements as part of base bid, and Phase B parking lot expansion as part of alternate bid. Project scope to includes mobilization, demolition, earthwork, grading, tree removal, hauling and disposal, removal and reconstruction of existing concrete and asphalt pavement, construction surveying and staking, construction of retaining walls, trash enclosures, electrical work and lighting, landscaping and irrigation, pavement resurfacing, and miscellaneous site improvements as indicated on the construction plans and specifications. 75 working days Engineer's Estimate: $600,000 (Base Bid) Question Deadline 09/10/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Technical questions regarding this project should be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Project Manager, Ms. Fe Rama, Phone (909) 364-2776; Email: frama@chinobills org Said work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of sixty-five (65) working days, from the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the City. Per Section VI of City of Chino Hills Agreement, the City and Contractor agree that the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) per calendar day is a reasonable sum to assess as damages to City by reason of the failure of Contractor to complete the Work within the time specified. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Chino Hills. The Contractor shall pay the general prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California for the locality where the work is to be performed. The City of Chino Hills reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interest of the City of Chino Hills.
