Site work for a water / sewer project in Bouse, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Central Arizona Water Conservation District reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all insurance policies required by this Contract at any time. CAWCD is requesting bids from vendors to update the current septic system at CAP's Bouse Hills Pumping Plant. The CAP is designed to bring about 1.5 million acre-feet of Colorado River water per year to Pima, Pinal and Maricopa counties. The CAP carries water from Lake Havasu to the southern boundary of the San Xavier Indian Reservation southwest of Tucson. It is a 336-mile long system of aqueducts, tunnels, pumping plants and pipelines and is the largest single resource of renewable water supplies in the state of Arizona. All questions shall be addressed to Maria Cerda (623) 869-2490 or by email to mcerda@cap-az.com. Complete a CAP dig permit. Confirm all power and controls circuits feeding the existing lift station are locked open. Demo the submersible pumps, float switches, wiring, and piping in the western most chamber of the septic tank. o Demo all wiring between the tank and the control panel within the plant (located on level 4, near the control room). There will be 6 power conductors (2 pumps) and 7 control conductors (float switches). Install a new NEMA 3R outdoor rated enclosure on the southwest side of the building, near the septic tank. This enclosure is going to be used as a junction box and power disconnect. o Install enough terminal-boards to be able to land at least 13 circuits. Probably two, 10 terminal terminal-boards will be required. Intercept existing 1" electrical conduit between the plant building and tank. Cutconduit near concrete walking pad. Connect and route an extension conduit to the side of the building to new junction box. Install and route new 1" conduit between new junction box and new tank control panel. Pull new power (12AWG) and control (14AWG) conductors, both with XHHW-2 insulation, between new junction box and existing control panel in the plant (level 4 near control room). o 15 conductors, approximately 200ft long. Pull new power (12AWG) and control (14AWG) conductors, both with XHHW-2 insulation, between new junction box and the new tank control panel. o 15 conductors, approximately 50ft long.
