958-45 Forestry Mgmt Serv, 918-90 Strategic Tech Plan/Cons Serv, Professional Services, Public Outreach/Median Relations/Strategic Plan, Implementation Plan, Forest Engineer, Community Development Study Albany County is seeking qualification statements and cost proposals for professional services from consulting firms with experience and expertise in evaluating communities in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) to update the Albany County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). 2.1. The primary objective of this project is to prepare and update all Communities identified in the 2013 CWPP. Addition of any areas or communities that have been developed or are at risk due to drought is also requested. Updates of County, State and Federal Partner strategies and any other areas of the 2013 CWPP is also part of the requested service. Primary areas of concern are: 2.1.1. County Strategies; 2.1.2. State Strategies; 2.1.3. Federal Strategies; 2.1.4. North Albany County- Downey Park and Friend Park; 2.1.5. Greater Laramie Peak- Harris Park/Laramie Peak Boy Scout Camp, Fletcher, Elk Park, Camp Grace, Cottonwood Park, Palmer Canyon, Flying X and Sybille; 2.1.6. Southeast- Roger's Canyon, Sherman Hills, The Summit/Rockaway Ranches and Boulder Ridge/Fish Creek Ranch, South Laramie and Paddocks, North Laramie Hwy 30 Corridor; 2.1.7. Southwest- Rainbow Valley, North Fork, Aspen Country, Wildhorse Ranch, Albany, Fox Creek, Woods Landing, Jelm, Porter Ranch, Wycolo, Fox Park, Mountain Home, Ox Yoke, Wold, Miller Lake, Foxborough, Valhalla, Lake Creek, Keystone, Moore's Gulch and Rambler; 2.1.8. Special Use Cabins- Beehive, Bear Creek, Dry Park, Libby Lodge, Lower Libby, Mountain Meadows, Brook Lake/ Lodge, Cascade, Gramm, Snowy Mountain Lodge, UW Camp, Snowy Range Lodge and Table in the Wilderness; 2.1.9. Any other identified areas; 2.1.10. Isolated Home Sites; and 2.1.11. Pre-suppression and Mitigation Activities.
