Remove and Replace the Roofs On WBHS Area Y & Doherty Elementary Area I Sealed lump sum proposals will be received by West Bloomfield Schools ACS building at 5810 Commerce Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48324 on or before May 19th until 10 a.m. The bids will be opened and read publicly at that time. Proposals are to be contained in an opaque sealed envelope, which shall be identified as "SEALED BID - 2023 ROOF REPLACEMENTS - WEST BLOOMFIELD SCHOOLS", on the face of the envelope. West Bloomfield High School 4925 Orchard Lake Rd West Bloomfield, Michigan Doherty Elementary School 3575 Walnut Lake Road West Bloomfield, Michigan Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base proposal executed by an approved Surety Company or a certified check for the same amount made payable to West Bloomfield Schools. The bid security shall remain in effect for a period of sixty (60) days from date of bid opening. The bid bond or check delivery is conditioned to secure West Bloomfield Schools from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the bid or by the failure of the bidder to enter a contract for performance if the bid is accepted by the Owner. Bidders may not alter, withdraw or cancel their bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the time designated for receipt of the bids stated above. Successful bidders for work in excess of $50,000 will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of their bid, issued by sureties listed by the U.S. Treasury Department and licensed to do business in Michigan.
