Renovation of an educational facility in Washington, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of furnishing/installing a vertical transport lift suitable for wheelchairs and weathertight enclosure. The lift will connect (3) levels, and the proposed location is at an existing shaft between the 1942 original building and a later addition. Work includes providing all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, tools/equipment, services and associated work for this project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site, and all such visits shall be arranged through the Owner - Please contact Cory Lyons at 309.840.2122 to arrange. All requests for clarifications or interpretations shall be made to the Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. All questions are due to the Architect by Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. local time, after this time no additional questions will be reviewed prior to the bid opening. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner.
