The work to be done on this project consists, in general, of the pavement rehabilitation of a segment of Westridge Drive. The work includes maintaining traffic and furnishing traffic control throughout construction; clearing, grubbing, and environmental protection; adjustment of survey monument covers; cold milling of asphalt pavement; conform grinding and profile milling; base repairs and subgrade repairs within the roadway; subgrade preparation; placement of geogrid and aggregate base; hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving; removal and placement of HMA dikes; installing new thermoplastic traffic striping and traffic markings, placing blue reflective pavement markers; and all appurtenant work thereto required by the Plans, the Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions and Appendix A Federal Requirements, and as directed by the Public Works Director.
