The Township of Old Bridge is seeking quotes for the purchasing, delivery and installation of Swing Gates at Two (2) Township locations as required by the Department of Public Works. Specifications listed below: DETAIL SPECIFICATIONS 1. INTENT It is the intent of these specifications to provide to prospective vendors the requirements for the furnishing, delivery and installation of Barrier Fence Swing Gates at Two (2) Township locations as required by the Department of Public Works. 2. SCOPE OF WORK The successful vendor shall furnish all required supervision, labor, materials, equipment apparatus, tools, transportation, storage, permits, certificates (if required) and all the necessary related items including insurance for a full and complete job as specified. All work shall be performed using the highest quality workmanship by personnel who are experienced in construction and installation of barrier fence swing gates. 3. REQUIREMENTS The successful vendor shall perform any and all site work necessary to make current areas suitable for the project. The successful vendor shall be responsible for removal and proper disposal of all materials and products used, including but not limited to packing materials, containers, cardboard, shrink wrap, wooden pallets, paint cans etc. The successful vendor shall be responsible for disposal of all material containers and any fees resulting from such disposal. The successful vendor shall be responsible for contacting NJ One-Call (800-272-1000) for mark outs at each location before work begins and to notify the Department of Public Works for internal mark-outs. 4. FURNISH, DELIVER AND INSTALLATION OF BARRIER FENCE SWING GATES The successful vendor shall furnish, deliver, and install Barrier Fence Swing Gates in accordance with DETAIL OF STANDARD SWING GATE (attached) of the following types and measurements: LOCATION GATE TYPE TOTAL LENGTH OF SPAN (in feet) Sandfield Rd - Gate 1 Double Twenty-two (22') Sandfield Rd - Gate 2 Double Twenty-two (22') JOB SITE LOCATIONS The following are locations for barrier fence swing gate installation: Sandfield Rd - Gate 1 Sandfield Rd - Gate 2 (See attached Map) If you have any questions on these specifications, please e-mail: purchasing@oldbridge.com Contractor must be fully insured.
