Renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Wheeling, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.
The Information for Bidders, Plans, Specifications, Drawings, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the Office of the City Engineer, City-County Building, Wheel ing, WV 26003. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the con tract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The bidder's attention is called to the fact that this contract is subject to the equal opportunity requirements of Executive Order 11246, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.T his contract is subject to the requirements of the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act, Chapter 21, Article 11 of the Code of West Virginia. Contractor must be licensed in accordance with the Act at the time of the bid. vThe work to be done consists of the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and performance of all work for the construction of the project located at Wheeling, West Virginia. The general layout of the project work is shown on the plans.
