Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Vienna, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

All asphalt products providers shall be in accordance with the current version of the VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications. Town crews will pick up the asphalt and internal cost associated with travel time will be added to the Total Material Cost provided by the bidder. Travel Cost will be based on the number of miles the bidders asphalt supply plant is from Northside Yard, 600 Mill Street, NE. The asphalt plant must be located no more than 25 miles driving distance from 600 Mill Street, NE, Vienna, VA. Asphalt will be required as follows: Asphalt Concrete, VDOT Hot Surface Mix SM9.5A Asphalt Concrete, VDOT Hot Base Mix Type BM-25 Asphalt Concrete, VDOT Hot Intermediate Mix, Type IM-19.0 Occasionally, the Town will need to purchase Asphalt Tack, Liquid Emulsion in 5 gallon containers, or pick up in bulk, as well. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to award an annual contract for the purchase of asphalt, liquid - hot mix on an as-needed basis from a local mix plant in accordance with the amounts listed in the attached specifications. The contract shall cover the asphalt per order and shall vary in the quantity per order. This contract shall cover the total cost the pick-up of asphalt, as needed by the Town. Work Location: Town of Vienna, VA. or your plant for pick up. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: May 8, 2023, 1:00pm
