Sealed Bids for Window Tinting will be received by the City of Waterbury at the office of the Director of Purchasing, Room 103, City Hall Building, 235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT 06702 until 10:30AM on May 30, 2023 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bids will be received after 10:30AM on the day the bids are to be opened. The Work consists of: Measure and Install Window Tints. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents must be submitted to the CITY's ProcureWare website by May 18 2023, 2:00PM. The CITY will issue written clarifications or interpretations by Addenda online at the CITY's ProcureWare website Bids will not be received or accepted by the CITY from prospective Bidders who did not attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. The Contractor's General, Automobile, Builder's Risk and Excess/Umbrella Liability Insurance policies shall be endorsed to add the City and its Board of Education as an additional insured and provide waiver of subrogation on all policies. BIDDER agrees and covenants that the purchase order time shall commence upon issuance and terminate on 8/15/2023, unless the purchase order provides otherwise. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services ("DAS") under the provisions of CONN.GEN.STAT. 4a-60g, as amended. (25% of the work with DAS certified Small and Minority owned businesses and 25% of that work with DAS certified Minority, Women and/or Disabled owned businesses.)
