Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in N Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work under this contract will include all equipment, labor, material, supplies, etc. necessary to furnish the work described in this contract. The project consists of the replacement of the existing six (6) tennis courts, three (3) basketball courts, and two (2) deck hockey courts on the Northeast corner of the High School campus. The new courts are proposed to be constructed using a post-tensioned concrete base. Any questions regarding this Bid should be addressed to Sheila Joyce email (sjoyce@chelmsfordma.gov) by November 10, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Responses to questions will be posted on the website. Addenda no later than end of day Monday November 13, 2023. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the town website periodically for any additional addenda. A bid bond of 5% payable to the Town of Chelmsford shall accompany each bid. This may be in the form of a certified check or bid bond. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 50% of the contract will be required from the successful bidder. The Contractor shall begin work No Sooner than July 8, 2024. Substantial completion shall be completed by October 23, 2024. Final project closeout shall be completed by December 1, 2024. Schedule to be confirmed with the Facilities Manager.
