Renovation of a civil project in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

As of June 28, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a contract award amount and a timeline for construction have not been confirmed at this time. The Project generally consists of the following major items: A. Hugh A Wyckoff Water Treatment Plant: The Construction of a new Orthophosphate storage and feed system including all work shown on the drawings including the following major components: 1. Off-loading and installation of an owner supplied bulk FRP tank in the existing alum storage area. 2. Installation of an owner supplied chemical metering pump skid 3. Off-loading and installation of an owner supplied FRP Day tank 4. A new transfer pump from the bulk to the day tank 5. Providing level instruments and other instrumentation as shown on the drawings and specifications. 6. Electrical supply for the new facilities and control wiring. 7. Chemical piping, including piping from a new fill station to the tanks, interconnecting piping between tanks and pumps, and feed piping to the chemical feed location. 8. All other improvements shown on the drawings and included in the specifications. B. James E Quarles Water Treatment Plant: The Construction of a new Orthophosphate storage and feed systemincluding all work shown on the drawings includingthe following major components: 1. Demolition of two existing storage tanks and associated systems. 2. Construction of a new concrete pad and FRP grating, and stairs at the existing spill tank containment area. 3. Off-loading and installation of an owner supplied bulk FRP tank. 4. Installation of an owner supplied chemical pump skid 5. Off-loading and installation of an owner supplied FRP Day tank 6. A new prefabricated metal building enclosure for the pumps and day tank that includes lighting and HVAC 7. A new transfer pump from the bulk to the day tank 8. Providing level instruments and other instrumentation as shown on the drawings and specifications. 9. Electrical for the new facilities and control wiring. 10. Chemical piping, including piping from a new fill station to the tanks, interconnecting piping between tanks and pumps, and feed piping to the chemical feed location. 11. All other improvements shown on the drawings and included in the specifications. All questions related to the Project shall be submitted by email no later than 4:00 p.m., local time, May 19, 2023, to Patrick Pherson at ppherson@ccmwa.org. Questions, if answered, will be addressed by addendum to the Contract Documents. Receipt of any amendment to this Advertisement for Bids shall be acknowledged, in writing, and shall be submitted with the Bid. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
