Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,930-square-foot, three-story above grade, one-story below grade educational facility.
Estimated Construction Cost: $2,000,000.00 Project Description: This project will convert an existing copy and storage room 2345 on the second floor into a new telecom room that will serve the whole building accommodating netv2 standards. Telecom equipment within the existing electrical rooms on each floor will be abandoned and removed after the new telecom room is complete and in service. Staff lounge 2325 adjacent to the new telecom room will revert back to its original size as office 2300g from a previous tenant improvement is demolished. The minor increase in occupancy in staff lounge 2325 does not impact egress requirements. No change to fire ratings. Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: B General Building Contractor Bidding Documents will only be available digitally at no cost to Bidders beginning May 2, 2023,
