The project consists of Electrical work in association with an already awarded track and bleacher upgrades project. Project Address: 701 Webster St. Sidney, IA 51652 The work shall commence within ten (10) calendar days after the date set forth in written Notice to Proceed and shall be substantially complete August 1, 2023. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid submitted. Bid Security must be in the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders -Invitation to Bid and be submitted in a separate sealed envelope clearly labeled Bid Security. Bid Security must be in one of the following forms: Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Certified Share Draft or Bank Draft of Surety Company and approved Bond Form. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. The award of contract may be made by the Sidney Community School District Board of Directors to the lowest, responsive, responsible Bidder meeting the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Sidney Community School District. The Board reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) calendar days after the date bids are to be received. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION DATE: August 1, 2023.
