Any submittal that does not meet the requirements set forth in this document and any addenda will not be considered by the Selection Committee. Questions regarding this RFP should not be submitted to BidNet, but submitted to bidresponse@cogs.us All addenda issued by The City of Glenwood Springs will be placed on the BidNet site prior to the time that proposals are received and shall be considered part of the RFP. It shall be the Bidder's responsibility to view all documents posted at BidNet. The City may issue several addenda during the process as needed for clarification. The Bidder shall purchase and maintain at its own insurance which is at least as broad, and with limits at least as great as outlined in Section V: If your proposal is successful and a contract awarded, a compliant certificate of insurance will be required with all endorsements at that time. Scope of Work The Contractor shall follow all applicable City County, State and Federal codes and regulations. Protect the surrounding area including other structures, sidewalks, and vegetation. The contractor shall maintain a safe work area around the facility. Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all old roofing materials and debris with close attention to the removal of nails from the work area. Supply and install high temp, ice and water shield. Supply and install synthetic felt underlayment. Remove and reinstall skylights and replace perimeter wood as needed. Supply and install 24ga painted metal flashing for all roof penetrations to match existing. Supply and install asphalt shingles over entire surface to match existing. Shingles shall be equal to or better than the existing shingle quality. Please provide specifications for proposed shingles to be used. Reseal metal caps. Repair membrane to shingle connections as needed. Supply and replace damaged plywood as needed. Clean up and remove all waste. The successful contractor may be required to provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. If required, the performance bond shall remain in full force and effect through the guarantee period.
