Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cahokia, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
INVITATION TO BID Sealed separate Bids for Parking Lot Improvements, E Morris Elementary School, will be received at the Cahokia USD #187 Unit Office, 1700 Jerome Lane, Cahokia Heights, IL. until 2:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2023, then publicly opened and read aloud. Base Bid includes parking lot improvements including the demolition and reconstruction of the existing entrance road, bus drop-off loop, faculty parking area, parent drop-off parking lot with new asphalt pavement, the removal and reconstruction of concrete sidewalk, and all other work to complete the project. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Cahokia USD #187 Unit Office. The successful bidder shall enter into the Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building Trades Council and their affiliated local craft unions for all work. Any levels of subcontractors shall enter into the same PLA. Drawings and specifications are available at the office of Hurst-Rosche, Inc., 5 Bank Square, East St. Louis, IL, after May 10, 2023 for a non-refundable amount of $100.00 ($110.00 if mailed). Documents are for reference purposes only. At a minimum, bidders must obtain clean copies of bid forms by paying a non-refundable amount of $10.00. Drawings and specifications will be available for viewing at: www.hurst-rosche.com. Documents may also be examined at SIBA, 1468 Green Mount Rd., O'Fallon, IL 62269 or Hurst-Rosche, Inc. The first day available for construction is Tuesday, June 6, 2023. The Owner requires that the project be substantially complete by Friday, July 28, 2023. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the Prevailing Wage Determination, as issued by the Illinois Department of Labor.
