This project will consist of miscellaneous pavement repairs and drainage improvements to be administered by work orders as needed. The contract term is one year. At the Town’s discretion, the Town has the option to renew the contract for two (2) additional one-year terms. Both the contractor and the Town have the right to request renegotiated unit prices and/or quantities for the renewal term, and renewal will require the agreement of both parties. No officer or employee of the Town of Argyle shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with the Town of Argyle. The Town anticipates total work orders during the one-year term will be between $250,000 and $500,000. However, the Town reserves the right to issue work orders that total more or less than that amount. Individual work orders will not be issued for less than $5,000 except as indicated in the Special Conditions. The quantities shown in the proposal are for illustration only and represent no guarantee that the actual quantities will not vary from the quantities shown. The Town of Argyle, Texas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and informalities, unless all bids are rejected, an award will be made to the lowest and most responsible bidder. The Town of Argyle, Texas reserves the right to bid work orders greater than $25,000.00 for a single item as a separate project/contract.
