Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway, sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.

Selective removal and replacement of specific water main locations as shown on the Project Plan Sheets of 6-inch. 4-inch, and 2-inch diameter PVC water main, 6-inch diameter fusible PVC raw water main piping, and all necessary fittingsr hydrants, valves ' and service reconnections along with any necessary installation items required. Included shall be specific fire hydrant locations as identified! raw water main replacement at specific creek crossing locations and providing required nitrate test equipment as identified, as shown on the plans. The Project timeframe is 300 days and is intended to be constructed in the Summer of 2023 to the Spring of 2024 with all 2024 work completed by March 30, 2024 The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Berns, Clancy and Associates, P C., 405 East Main Street, Urbana, Illinois 61802, phone: 217-384-1144, fax: 217-384-3355. The project engineer for the project is Greg Gustafson, P.E., ggustafson @bernsclancy.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours"of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding ' Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Only Plan Holders of Record that register and obtain documents from the Engineer may submit bids for this project. Bidding Documents are available via email (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $75. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The nonrefundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $125 per set, payable to "Berns, Clancy and Associates" Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via FedEx. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be' considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. To request documents call 217-384-1144 or email projects@bernsclancy.com. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources othe'r than the Issuing Office.
