Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of the work shall include concrete drilling horizontal holes clear through the foundations at an elevation of approximately 3 to 4 feet below the top of the foundation and 7 to 8 feet below the top of the foundation and at right angles to each other. The holes would be 4 inches in diameter. The concrete will be sampled continuously with every effort to obtain 100 percent recovery. The scope of this Work shall include, but may not be limited to the following: -Mobilization/demobilization, -Safety and Security -Design, Supply and Install Scaffolding/Staging and access system -Site preparation,survey and measurements -Permits -Transportation -Environmental protection -Cores drilling -Obtain concrete core specimen for HHB evaluation -Provide transport, access and assistance to HHB for inspections -Grout and filling materials as required -Protection of permanent structures -Etc.
