The City of Celina is seeking qualifications for remodel design services for the future parks administration building located at 420 E. Main Street. This will include minor interior demolition, new interior walls and ceilings, new restroom facilities and plumbing fixtures and new interior cabinetry drawings, interior finishes, and specifications. All new interior changes drawn, including MEP engineering, must meet current codes.
New audio visual and low voltage wiring drawings specifications must meet City standards.
Architect's construction drawings include exterior changes with addition of facade,
foundation and exterior glazing.
All drawings to have structural stamped engineered drawings where required.
Services will also include plans for alteration to existing fire suppression system and alarm
to meet code. This project will include construction of a parking lot, landscaping and construction of trail
head. Architect to coordinate all drawings for such, including civil plans (coordinated
through city vendor), paving plans, drainage, ADA ramp and sidewalk access, landscaping,
and exterior lighting. Additional drawings will also include new trailhead design options with final construction
plans with engineered stamped as needed. Required coordination with adjacent civil construction project of stream restoration and trail
construction. As of June 11, 2024, a design firm has been selected.
