As of 5/19/2023 this project is in the planning stages. No additional information is available at this time. Lake Meridian Water District did issue a determination of non significance (DNS) with a 14-day comment period and will not act on the proposal for 14 days from the date of above, relative to the environmental impact of the following described proposal. Description of Proposal: The project consists of installing a new submersible well pump and motor (Well 6B), including power, controls and accessories, in existing well casing; wellhead improvements; new well piping, valves and appurtenances; new wood-framed well building including controls room and wellhead room; new below-grade water main to/from Well 6A; new hatch and other improvements in Well 6A structure; improvements to the existing Water Treatment Building (WTB), including new on-site chlorine generation system, new fluoride system, new analyzer, new backwash control valves and controls, new piping, valves and appurtenances; an expansion and improvements to the existing backwash vault and system; electrical improvements to support the project; a new on-site diesel generator; propane tank and accessories; and civil site work including fencing, hydroseeding, paving, sidewalk repair, and water service.
