Friday, May 05, 2023 Notice Content LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Sycamore Park District is accepting bids for the following identified project: Reston Ponds OSLAD Development The proposed work is located on the property west of Parkside Drive and south of Becker Place in Sycamore, IL 60178. The project consists of the provision of materials, labor, and equipment necessary to fabricate, furnish, and install the improvements as shown on the Final Engineering Plans and as described in the specifications. Major work elements include topsoil stripping, mass grading, storm sewer installation, water service installation, electric service installation, parking lot and trail paving, turf grass seeding, native seeding, landscaping, installation of a pavilion, installation of a playground, installation of a pickleball court, and various additional site features. Sealed bids plainly marked "Reston Ponds OSLAD Development" and addressed "To Jonelle Bailey, Executive Director" shall be received on or before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the Sycamore Park District Community Center: 480 S. Airport Road, Sycamore, IL 60178, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. No oral proposals or modifications will be considered. No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of exceeding sixty (60) calendar days. An electronic copy of the plans and specifications may be obtained from the Sycamore Park District beginning on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 for free by emailing Jonelle Bailey, at jonelleb@sycparks.org. The Sycamore Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to combine bids and to award the bid based on the best interests of the Park District. The chosen Contractor shall comply with all provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Sycamore Park District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
