Notice is hereby given that the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education will be receiving sealed bids at the board offices located at 75 Mount Pleasant Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936, for the Whippany Park High School Wrestling Room HVAC Unit Replacement Project. The scope of work generally includes the complete removal and replacement of an existing rooftop Heating and Ventilating unit with a new unit, including all other associated work as shown on the drawings and specified herein, etc. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to William Albert, Business Administrator, with the name of the project, "Whippany Park High School Wrestling Room HVAC Unit Replacement", plainly marked on the front of the envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1. et seq. Any questions which a bidder may have shall be brought to the attention of the Architect via email at mbieri@fkarch.com . All bidders and their subcontractors shall be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. All bids must be accompanied by a Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor, pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act to the Bidder and all subcontractors. Pursuant to P.L. 2004 c.57 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) all bids must be accompanied by a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue. The Bidder must include its own Business Registration Certificate and all subcontractors. No bidder who is on the State Treasurer's, the SDA's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Bidders shall be eligible to bid on this project. The Hanover Park Regional Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Hanover Park Regional Board of Education.
