Description: The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 380 linear feet of 6-inch diameter water main, 7,200 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main, 3,600 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main, gate valves, butterfly valves, water service pipe and connections, water meter relocation, fire hydrants, air release valve assembly, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and as specified. The Work may include one or more Additive Alternatives which include the installation of approximately 100 linear feet of 6-inch diameter water main, 2,430 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main, gate valves, water service pipe and connections, water meter relocation, fire hydrants, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous work. Additional Description: This Project is being funded in part through USDA Rural Development and the Washington State Community Development Block Grant program with federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. All Work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the state or federal wage rates. Bid security is required and shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.
