The New River Gorge Regional Development Authoirty, located in Beckley, West Virginia, is in the process of obtaining Environmental Review services for their proposed Trap Hill Little League Field Construction project. Professional services will be needed to provide: (1) a standard comprehensive Environmental Review as required by the funding and regulatory agencies associated with the project; (2) all pertinent documentation including an environmental report in accordance with said funding and regulatory agencies; (3) advice and assistance pertaining to procurement and acquisition of contractors to perform special studies such as endangered species or special habitat analysis. The objective of the competitive process is to objectively select the environmental consultant who will provide the highest quality of service at a realistic fee. Accordingly, technical qualifications and experience will be weighed heavily. Attention is directed to the fact that the proposed funding for the project may include HUD Economic Development Initiative (HUD EDI), DEP Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council (IJDC), USDA Rural Development (USDA - RUS), Drinking Water Treatment Revolving Fund (DWTRF), US Economic Development Administration (USEDA), US Army Corps of Engineers or other potential sources. All work will be performed in accordance with the regulations issued by any funding agency and the State of West Virginia appertaining hereto.
