The Maryland Air Nationa Guard requires an upgraded locker room and rest room renovated to appropriate standards to meet mission needs in support of the Optimization of the Human Weapon System (OHWS). General Description: The 175th WG, Maryland Air National Guard (ANG), Martin State Airport, Middle River, Maryland, requires a renovation and upgrade design of the existing locker and rest room, Bldg. 2040, which is currently sized at 1,810 SF. The design must be produced by a registered AE firm, hereby referred to as Contractor. Built in 1981, the facility has numerous issues related to age and deterioration. Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, licenses and permits, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform and execute the following work: Update the current restroom configuration to add an ABA toilet and shower in the female restroom, add a urinal and remove a toilet in the male restroom, and to meet current applicable codes and requirements. Rebalance all existing air conditioning units, make-up air systems, and the facility's main boiler including all supporting components. Repair the baseboard heating loop in the main dining area. Upgrade interior lighting to higher efficiency light emitting diode (LED) fixtures. Update electrical systems, panels, and outlets to meet current applicable codes and standards. Repair existing drainage issues. Repair all walls and floor finishes and replace all ceiling tiles throughout the space. Design upgrade of all plumbing efficient fixtures and lavatories, toilets, urinals and partitions. Programmed Amount: PJMS232002 - $450,000.00.
