A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City of Los Altos is soliciting proposals to provide kitchen and bathroom remodeling services for 999 Fremont Ave. A detailed scope of services . The City will consider proposals from individuals or entities who meet most but not all of the qualifications outlined in this RFP. The City reserves the right to waive any minimum qualifications for a good cause and award the work based on the best overall value. The proposal shall address the schedule for the kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The service provider will be required to maintain insurance coverage for Liability and Worker's Compensation, with the City of Los Altos named as Additional Insured. The consultant shall obtain a City of Los Altos Business License. See Exhibit C in the Sample Agreement for further information on insurance requirements. Payment for work completed as outlined in the SCOPE OF SERVICES shall follow the Citys payment schedule as outlined in the contractor service agreement. The service provider shall include costs for meetings with City staff, inspections, reporting to City, and all other project related expenses in the proposal. This project is subject to Labor Code requirements, including the payment of prevailing wages pursuant to Labor Code Section 1720, et seq. For more information, please refer to Section 10 of the contractor services agreement template included in this RFP. The proposal should incorporate all requirements outlined in the RFP and a statement of qualifications (SOQ) for undertaking the proposed services. At a minimum, the SOQ shall include the following: a) Experience performing similar work in other jurisdictions, b) References, and c) Remodeling proposal. The proposal must include any requested modifications to the draft Contractor Services Agreement enclosed with this notice. The service provider must be ready to execute the agreement within ten (10) days of approval by the City.
