The project consists of the alteration of Coralville Garage masonry walls, addition of steel headers and lintels, demo and door additions building closure.We highly recommend online submission of responses and questions. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Julie Brown (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Julie Brown in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below). Any questions that arise during your site visit should be submitted using the Ion Wave system. DOT will coordinate with staff and send you confirmation once the site visit has been scheduled. Contractors will be required to bring their own equipment needed for the site visit. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
