The GN reserves the right to make any change amendment or clarification to this RFT at any time prior to the closing date and time, including amending the specifications and the closing date and time. Whenever travelling outside of the Contractor’s home location for work under this contract, the Contractor shall use, and require all non-resident sub-contractors to use, a licensed hotel or bed and breakfast facility for accommodations in the community where the work is to be carried out As the intent of the Unscheduled “As & When Required” services aspect of this contract is to provide for casual, unplanned work, including emergency services, the contract pricing shall be inclusive of all wages, allowances, supervision, insurance, WSCC costs, minor shop materials, tools, shipping and handling, local transportation, overhead, profit and any charges associated with providing the service after normal business hours. The Government of Nunavut shall make best efforts to limit demands for services outside of normal business hours to bona fide emergency situations (“Unscheduled” services). The amount or volume of work provided in the Unit Pricing Table is an estimate only and is made in good faith; however, the GN is not bound by such estimate and the actual work to be performed is limited solely to that specifically requested by the GN. Similar work not provided for in the Description of Work Required will not form part of this contract.
