Project Summary: The City of Winston-Salem's Engineering Division is inviting proposals from qualified electrical engineering firms interested in providing specifications and plans for competitive bidding to install emergency. This project is federally funded. The City of Winston-Salem is seeking to obtain proposals from qualified electrical engineering firms to create specifications and plans for a complete emergency standby generator system at five (5) separate locations. The scope of work should include existing conditions assessment, product selection, designing and permitting in order to provide the full bidding package for a separate turn-key installation contract. All questions concerning this RFQ or the scope of work should be submitted in writing to Darren Redfield at darrenmr@cityofws.org by the End of Question period of 4:00pm, May 17, 2023. This RFQ will in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all applications; to waive minor irregularities in the RFQ process or in the applications; to re-advertise this RFQ; to postpone or cancel this process; select and procure parts of services; and to change or modify the RFQ schedule at any time.
