The Contractor will provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), Sutter Maintenance Yard, Alarm System Installation, Maintenance, Repair, and 24-Hour per Day Monitoring. Technical questions must be submitted by Friday, May 26, 2023 at 8:00 a.m The Contractor will be responsible for the 24-hour per day monitoring and upkeep of the current Honeywell Security System, along with monitoring the additional equipment to be installed as listed in Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Section 7, Products. Refer to to Exhibit A, Attachment 1, Existing Photo Beams, for locations of existing equipment. And, refer to Exhibit A, Attachment 2, Fence Sensors for locations of new equipment to be installed. The current Honeywell System to be monitored is located in eight buildings (8), with keypads in five (5) of the buildings, as well as beams in the yard. Additonal beams and fence sensors throughout the yard will also need to be monitored after their installation. All alarm keypads will activate with the same code, which will be provided directly by the DWR Contract Manager. There will be a one-minute lead time for staff to enter the code before the alarms begin to sound upon detection of any motion in the buildings. Keypads are located inside each of the five designated buildings by the door to prevent tampering and to provide quick access to staff for entering the code prior to the alarm signaling The State as part of its evaluation process reserves the right to verify, validate, and clarify all information contained in the bid. This may include, but is not limited to, information from bidders, manufacturers, subcontractors and any other sources available at the time of the bid evaluation. Bidder refusal to agree to and/or comply with these terms, or failure to provide additional supporting information at the State's request may result in denial of preference requested. The bidder hereby agrees to provide all labor, materials, licenses, permits, and transportation necessary to perform all services required for the foregoing titled work in accordance with the Scope of Work, Exhibit A. The rates listed on this Bid Sheet shall include every item of expense, direct and indirect, including taxes incidental to the specified rates. The Contractor is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the Labor Code, which requires every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code and the Contractor and any subcontractors will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this contract.
