Site work for a water / sewer project in Cedar Park, Texas. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will include improvements to a permitted Type II reclaimed water system at the City's Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) to enable the system to provide Type I reclaimed water to a nearby City Park for irrigation purposes. The system should be designed to meet peak irrigation demand and have the capability to be expanded as demand grows. Permitting from TCEQ for a Type I system will be needed. Some piping for the system is in place at the park, but the system must include piping from the City's WRF to connect to that existing piping; the new portion of piping will cross TxDOT right-of-way and require TxDOT permitting. As of September 5, 2024, the design firm has been selected. The construction document completion timeline has not been released. A tentative bid schedule for contractors has not been disclosed. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified.
