The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract consists of the Contractor to upgrade 11 sewer services which includes the removal and replacement of approximately, 298 feet of sewer service replacement, 214 feet of (Cured in Place Piping) CIPP lining of sewer services, 3 Type A manholes, dewatering, sewer flow control, traffic control, creek bypassing, landscaping, and miscellaneous surface restoration. Estimated Construction Cost: Between: $500,001 - $1,000,000 Questions Due: 12:00 P.M. Local Time, May 15, 2023 At the above indicated time, the bids will be opened publicly and read. Bids must be received by the Purchasing Officer prior to the time fixed for opening of the bids to be considered. Time of receipt will be as determined by the time stamp in the Purchasing Office, Suite 520. Contracts shall be awarded by written notice issued by the Purchasing Officer to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, preference will be given to local bidders in compliance with Anchorage Municipal Code Section 7.20.040. The Municipality of Anchorage reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening of bids or before the award of contract unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days from the time of the opening.
