Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boerne, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project was awarded to DIJ Construction in the amount of $1,299,049.16. 1. All work shall be done in accordance with plans, drawings, and specifications indicated in Section H and in the best and most workmanlike manner by qualified, careful and efficient workers, in strict conformity with the best accepted practices of each craft concerned, and at all times workmanship shall be subject to inspection and approval of the County through the County Engineer. 2.Quantities are estimated. It is the Contractor's responsibility to check and confirm roadway measurements. Quantities will be verified by Contractor before work begins. 3. The Contractor shall get prior approval from TxDOT to stock pile materials outside of the County right-of-way. Contractor must provide written proof of TxDOT approval to the Road and Bridge Supervisor, prior to stock piling materials on TxDOT right of way. The Contactor shall get prior approval from Kendall County Road and Bridge Supervisor to stockpile materials inside County right-of-way. 4. All Materials, Equipment, Construction, Measurement, and Payment shall conform and fulfill the requirements of TxDOT Specifications. (Item 316, Seal Coat; Item 302, Aggregates; and, Item 300, Asphalts, Item 666 (Reflectorized Pavement Markings).
