All bids shall be submitted in an envelope stamped "Bid", sealed and addressed to the City Clerk, and marked "PRAIRIE VILLAGE COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT" At the above stated time and place, all proposals shall be publicly opened. Proposals received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened. Said project to include, but not limited toPrairie Village is in need of Owner Representative Services for a new community center study. The Community Center project would be in partnership with the YMCA as the operational manager and replace the current Prairie Village YMCA facility. The Johnson County Library would also be interested in partnering by relocating their Corinth Library Branch in proximity to the Community Center. It is anticipated that the first phase of the project will include all initial site design and public involvement. If after City Council approval and a positive public vote it is expected that this contract would be extended for final design and construction. Non-resident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State and all non-resident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and to pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each contract as a precedent to commencing work on the contract.
