Renovation of a municipal facility in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

1. All bids shall be completed on the attached forms supplied by the Intermediate Unit. One (1) copy is to be returned to the Intermediate Unit and one (1) copy retained for your files. 2. The prices stated shall be net prices and shall include delivery, installation and demonstration. All prices quoted shall be exclusive of Federal and State Taxes. Exemption certificate, if required, will be furnished to the successful bidder upon request. 3. The work will be performed by 8/21/23 4. Any bidder submitting a proposal shall specify in writing that the product proposed meets or exceeds the existing product. 5. The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit Board of Directors reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or reject any and all bids submitted and to award the contract in the best interest of the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit using the following rubric Bid Protest Process A bidder may protest a bid award if s/he believes that the award was inconsistent with Board policy or administrative regulations or the bid's specifications, or was not done in compliance with law. The bidder must file a written protest with the Executive Director or designee within five (5) working days after receipt of notification of the bid award. The bidder must submit with the protest, all documents supporting or justifying the protest. A bidder's failure to file the protest documents in the given time period will constitute a waiver of his/her right to protest the award of a bid. The Executive Director or designee will review the protest and supporting documents and render a written decision within thirty (30) working days. The Executive Director or designee may arrange a meeting with the protester to attempt to resolve the issue. The bidder may submit a written appeal of the Executive Director or designee's decision to the Board. The Board will provide reasonable notice to the bidder of the Board's timeline for consideration of the appeal. The Board's decision will be final. Bid Specifications: o Contractor will provide all labor and materials. o Sandblast the pool surface. o Pressure test the pool lines: skimmer, main drain, and return. o Apply dye to search for visible signs of water loss o Inspect shell for water loss and identify leaks. o Provide a separate estimate to repair leaks. o Once leaks are repaired, repaint pool surface with two coats of paint. o Repaint 6 Swimming Lanes. o Pool Dimensions: 42ft x 77ft. Depth 3.6ft to 4ft.
