As of 5/31/2023, this project has been canceled. The City of Dallas through its Department of Building Services is requesting proposals from consulting firms to develop new Design and Construction Standards for facility maintenance/operation, and repairs, and for future City construction projects. Any agreement procured through this solicitation if applicable, will be for a term of 2-years. The new standards will be used to provide City staff, design firms, architectural/ engineering firms, contractors, and others with guidance on project design, aesthetics, quality of construction, building performance, and approved equipment specifications. The new standards will be used as a resource by City staff and contractors when preparing bids, working on minor renovations, system upgrades, major maintenance, and/or new construction projects.
