Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Mission, Kansas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following: This Work includes addition of sodium bisulfite chemical storage and feed systems for dechlorination of flows discharged from the existing site. A fiberglass building is included for housing chemical feed systems and appurtenances, and modification of existing PEFTF outfall structure is also required. Site utility work includes water and drain lines and electrical power and controls. Other site work includes concrete pads/foundations, pavement replacement, grading and site restoration. Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, KS.
