The City of Graham is currently accepting sealed bids for concrete work at the West White Rose Road boat ramp on Lake Graham. Interested bidders are requested to submit a single bid in two parts: Part 1 Boat Ramp Approach Specification: Construct a concrete structure of 6,000 sq. ft. in surface area, more or less, suitable for light vehicular traffic with such structure to serve as an approach for a boat ramp. Owner requires concrete depth of five inches and inclusion of reinforcement bars of at least onehalf inch in diameter and spaced per industry standard. Demolition of the existing structure will be required. Part 2 Walkways Specification: Construct a concrete walkway mounted solid over water in locations to be specified by owner in following dimensions: five feet in width and a depth recommended by bidder Owner requests bidders submit bids at lengths of 60 feet, 80 feet, and 100 feet for cost comparison purposes. Owner will select one length of walkway for award after bid evaluation. Piers for walkway shall consist of 4.5inch metal pipe casing at a rating of least 10.5 pounds. Deck boards shall be 2 x 6 Trey Deck Board. Walkway shall include 2inch square tubing which shall be bid at each walkway length. All metal shall be primed and painted using marinegrade paint. The City of Graham reserves the right to reject all offers and withdraw the bid advertisement prior to receipt, or upon evaluation, of all sealed bids.
