The scope of work for this project shall consist of providing all labor, materials, and equipment for the removal of the existing fence, construction of brick pillars, and installation of new Fencing High Commercial Grade Ameristar for the Oakview Cemetery located on Martin Luther King Jr. Road, Camilla, Georgia (refer to Attachment K). The removed chain-link fence will remain the property of the City of Camilla. The Contractor will roll the fence in bundles that are easy for the City to load and transport for reuse or salvage. The City of Camilla is requesting sealed bids for the New Construction of 5' High Commercial Grade Ameristar Ornamental Fencing at Oakview Cemetery, as described in the attached Specifications and instructions. Questions regarding the Project will be accepted in writing only to the City of Camilla City Manager, Dennis Stroud at Dennis.Stroud@cityofcamilla.com before 12:00 PM [EST] on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Responses will be posted by addenda no later than 12:00 PM [EST] on June 14, 2023 The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award a contract in the best interest of the City, and to waive any technicalities and informalities. There is no Pre-Bid Meeting for this project. If a meeting is specified, the location of the meeting will be at City Hall, 30 E Broad Street, Camilla, Georgia 31730. The contract between the City and the Contractor shall become effective upon signing and shall be completed no later than 45 calendar days from the day the Notice to Proceed is issued. The City reserves the right to terminate contract at any time if successful bidder fails to meet requirements stated in this Invitation to Bid.
