The City of Springfield Massachusetts (the "City" and/or "Owner") through its Department of Parks, Buildings & Recreation Management ("DPBRM") is seeking bids from qualified firms to enter into an agreement for the installation of sediment & erosion controls, demolition of benches, stump removal, tree protection, removal and replacement of cement concrete walkway, cobblestone curbing, new water service, new yard hydrant, installation of owner-supplied site furnishings, and landscaping at Cottage Hill Park, 130 Oak Street, Indian Orchard, Springfield MA 01151. CONTRACT(S): ESTIMATED CONTRACT START DATE June 15,2023 ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE November 15, 2023 DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF WRITTEN QUESTIONS - May 17, 2023 4:30 P.M Installation, maintenance, and repair of erosion controls. Selective demolition and site preparation. Replacement of cement concrete walkways and pads with an exposed aggregate finish. Selective stump grinding. Construction of new water service for irrigation purposes. Installation of owner-furnished trash receptacles. Installation of owner-furnished benches on Contractor-installed concrete slabs. Cobblestone edging Riverstone pavement Installation granite hitching posts Installation of plant beds and plantings. Restoration of disturbed areas. Other work as detailed on the drawings and in the specifications
