All questions must be submitted in writing via purchasing@bluehills.org by May 23, 2023 at 10:00AM. All amendments and answers to questions will be distributed by May 25, 2023 via email provided. The contractor is responsible for familiarizing himselfwith the site and project assigned prior to rendering services under this contract. Failure to comply with any ofthe above requirements may result in cancellation ofthe contract. A Pre-Bid Informational Session and Site Visit will be at 2:45PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023, meeting in the main entrance. Bidders must be duly licensed to perform the services outlined and described in the bid document. Bidders must have at least seven (7) years' experience under the same ownership, partnership, or incorporation and seven (7) years' experience in performing the described services. Bidders must employ a sufficient number offull time, competent servicemen who will be assigned to this contract and have the technical background to perform the services. All service technicians must have the appropriate licenses. The District currently has tow (2) Trane AHU units (AHU2A and AHU2B) on the gym roof. Both units are fed off of a two-pipe system and coils are rated for heat. The heating coils in each unit, do not have enough capacity for cooling. This bid is for the purposes of providing and installing two (2) new cooling coils for these units; either in the AHU compartments or in the ductwork. The contractor will be responsible for providing or renting, ifnecessary, all the equipment needed to perform the work under this project. The contractor will be responsible for daily removal and disposal of all debris associated with work performed under this contract. Provide and Install two new coolin>> coils for the l vm AHU units 2A and 2B Provide and Install two (2) new fifteen (15) ton chilled water-cooling coils for the gym for units AHU-2A and AHU-2B. o The coils are to be installed either in the AHU compartments or the interior ductwork. o Ifthe coil is installed in the interior ductwork, Heatcraft model 5WEI 306A chilled watercooling coils or equivalents may be utilized. The specifications for the Heatcraft are provided and included in this bid. o Ifthe coil is to be installed in the interior ductwork, new condensate drip pan and pump must also be installed. Provide and install two (2) new actuated water control valves compatible with the new coils and the existing BMS controls o Provide and install new water pipes from the existing water loop to the new coil connections o Provide and install new isolation valves for draining and repairing ofthe coils o Provide and install all necessary sheet metal renovations and hanging systems as needed for support and transitioning of existing ductwork to the new coils o Provide and install insulation for water pipes and any exposed ductwork as needed to prevent condensation in the building o Support the fill and venting ofthe new coils o Leak test all connections prior to start-up o Perform start-up on each unit to determine proper operation and cooling capacity o Provide all necessary assistance and support for the commissioning ofthe control valve operation Provide and install two new cooling coils to existing HVAC system.
