This Request for Proposals is an invitation by SaskPower to Proponents to submit Proposals concerning design, engineering, manufacture of equipment, testing, supplying, shipping, onsite supervision and project management, secure installation of complete SVS buildings and indoor equipment, commissioning, training, and placement into commercial operation of two (2) Static VAR Systems (“SVSs”). The Proponent shall be responsible for the overall SVS design, commissioning, warranty, and performance guarantees as further described in the RFP Particulars - Appendix A (Package 1). Proponents will have the option to include in their Proposals a submission regarding optional work which includes the offloading, erection, secure installation of high voltage and medium voltage outdoor equipment and bus work, outdoor cabling and field wiring, outdoor bonding of both SVS systems including the supply of related material and equipment (Package 2). Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
