Renovation of a water / sewer project in Frankfort, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Sealed BIDS for the rehabilitation and upgrade of the Sulphur Lick Pump Station will be received by Peaks Mill Water District. PMWD reserves the right to waive any bid informalities. The Work to be accomplished under this Contract consists of the upgrade and rehabilitation of the existing Sulphur Lick booster pump station. The pump station rehabilitation shall include a replacement/upgrade of select operating elements, including the following: internal and external piping, valves, pressure/flow switches, ventilation, sump pump, lighting, alarms, controls, telemetry system, antenna and power supply. The Scope of Work includes adding cathodic protection of the steel cylinder, re-coating of the interior and exposed exterior steel, and treatment/repair of internal corrosion. While work is being performed on the pump station, the Contractor will be required to provide and operate a temporary booster pump station. The Scope of Work also includes grading of the area and construction of a new access drive. This Project is funded in part by American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grants to Franklin County and Owen County that have been allocated to the Peaks Mill Water District. This Project is subject to all the rules and regulations regarding receipt of ARPA funds from Franklin County and Owen County, Kentucky
