Site work for a civil project in Falher, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel and road / highway.
Bridge File 76786, NW 16-78-21-W5M Carrying a Local Road over An Unnamed Watercourse, 2 km N of Falher Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2-1829 mm span x 1118 mm rise CSP arch culvert structure with a 15.8 m invert length and the installation of 2-1500 mm CSP culverts structure with a 24.0 m invert length. The crossing is located on Range Road 214 over an unnamed tributary to Hunting Creek, 2 km north of Falher. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Demolition and Disposal of Existing Structure Excavation CSP Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence) Documents can be obtained from www.purchasingconnection.ca.
