Renovation of a day care center in Boise, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Base Bid: Roof Areas A, F, G, I, J, K: the removal of the existing mechanically attached TPO Roofing Membrane down to the existing Polyisocyanurate Roof Insulation and associated wall, curb and misc. Roof Penetration Flashings. Installation of new1/2 cover board and 80 mil TPO Single-Ply Roofing Membrane, wall, curb & miscellaneous Roof Penetration flashings. Scope of Work also includes the removal & reinstallation of the Pre-finished Metal Cap as required to install new wall flashing. Bid Alternate No. 1: Roof Areas B, C, D, E, H, M & L: the removal of the Asphalt Shingles and underlayment down to the existing Roof Sheathing. The removal and or re-installation of misc. flashing pieces i.e: drip & step flashing. Install new asphalt shingles over whole roof waterproof underlayment, new Pre-finished metal drip edge and step flashing. Bid Alternate No. 2: The repair and patching of water damaged stucco. Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
